DHL Express is the worldwide leader in international express delivery of parcels and documents, and time-definite delivery. DHL Express selected Quintiq to improve its dispatch process and customer service for the European Express business. Quintiq was chosen from a list of approximately 90 vendors.
DHL Express reports the following benefits with Quintiq:
- Increased productivity of dispatch (higher number of tours per dispatcher)
- The optimization of shipment allocation improves efficiency
- Overall reduction in the number of tours through real-time dispatch (elimination of ad hoc tours)
- Reduction of pickup and delivery costs
